At Mani, we want you to enjoy our products for a long time. That's why we recommend following these care instructions to ensure that your alpaca clothing stays soft, cozy, and in excellent condition.
Alpaca fiber is naturally stain-resistant and self-cleaning, so we recommend washing your garment only when necessary to maintain its longevity. When washing is required, we suggest hand washing it at a maximum temperature of 20 degrees using wool detergent (without fabric softener). Gently wash the garment and avoid rubbing, wringing, or soaking it.
Please note that our alpaca clothing is not suitable for the dryer. Instead, dry it flat on a towel, avoiding hanging it wet or drying it in direct sunlight or on a radiator.
For the best results, we recommend letting your alpaca clothing air out in the fresh air overnight. The fibers can regain their natural moisture and softness, and unpleasant odors will disappear on their own.
By following these care instructions, you can ensure that your alpaca clothing remains in excellent condition, so you can continue to enjoy it for years to come.
We pride ourselves on using only the finest materials, including alpaca wool. Here are just a few reasons why we believe alpaca wool is a superior choice for your little one:
- Excellent thermal insulation: Alpaca wool's hollow fibers make it five times warmer than sheep's wool, with a unique heat balance comparable to cashmere. It even repels heat in warmer temperatures!
- Antibacterial and odor-repellent: With little wool fat present, bacteria can't multiply on the surface, providing natural protection against odors, contagions, and infections. Plus, the protein molecules in alpaca wool neutralize sweat bacteria, keeping your little one feeling fresh and clean.
- Allergy-friendly: Alpaca wool is often better tolerated by allergy sufferers due to its hypoallergenic properties.
- Durable and resilient: Alpaca wool's high elasticity and resistance make it less likely to mat or pill than sheep's wool, providing long-lasting wear.
- Silky-soft and comfortable: With a structure that's smoother and softer than sheep's wool, alpaca wool offers a luxurious and comfortable feel, even directly on the skin.
- Lightweight and antistatic: Alpaca wool is lighter than sheep's wool and naturally antistatic, making it easy to care for and comfortable to wear.
- UV protection and flame retardant: Alpaca wool provides natural protection against UV radiation and is flame retardant, providing peace of mind for parents.
In summary, alpaca wool offers a unique combination of warmth, comfort, durability, and natural protection that makes it an ideal choice for your child's clothing. Experience the difference for yourself and shop our alpaca wool collection today!
